This Lily of the Valley is third one in my flower series. Each flower has been challenging in its own right. The big challenge on this was the stem- getting the stems to hang properly like they do in real life- bending from the weight of the flower blossoms AND not be too thin to cut. So- took me 3 HOURS to get the stem right- yes you read correctly! I think any of these flower designs can hold up on there own if you wanted to make a simple card. All of these flower cutting files would be perfect for Mother’s Day cards.
I test cut using my favorite cardstock , Doublemates by Worldwin I wish I had, Luscious Lime think it would be PERFECT to use for the stem and leaves.
I think this is likely my favorite series of cutting files that I have done to date. One thing I love about designing files is there is always something new to learn and fresh ideas as skills change.
I am still waiting on my rhinestones supplies to come and can’t wait to tackle that!
I am working on a few more interesting flowers to come- a poppy and a rose among others. I would love to do up a nasturtium. If you have a favourite flower let me know and see what I can do. ( I loathe carnations so don’t hold your breath on that one!)
