I bought this last week and was very excited- seemed like it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted and EASY way to cut neat professional looking scalloped edges.
I have seen a few products that c;aimed to do this and have not found in store. So last week I was at my LSS and saw this and picked it up.
I had to buy Twist Trimmer itself to work with teh scalloping blade, Twist Trimmer Refill Blades: Scallop (!!!!) I was not thrilled because I have so many right now and the thought of adding another seems ridiculous.
Together with tax was 22.00. CND.
It is recommend you use a metal cutting board – the trimmer uses magnets. I do have the memory Makers trimmer one and used that- but the Anywhere Twist Trimmer is REALLY long and couldn’t get it to fit properly on my mat. You are supposed to use magnets to hold paper in place and I did that…
The trimming did not go well- I wish I had taken pics… I actually ended up returning.
I REALLY wanted this to work and wanted to liek it as the price was great,
It works okay-ish on thin paper- though the scallops were much smaller than I would have liked. ON light wiegh card stock forget it. Don’t even attempt on textured Bazzil.
It does not cut through paper well at all and even then lots of tearing.
I would not recommend and as I mentioned- i returned it to the store.
