Wow- went to scrapbook crop night at Michaels 2 weeks ago and this was 399.00 ! Costco selling these for 169.99 INCLUDING shipping. If you have an Ameri-friend grab one of these.I used it and was quite impressed. I HATE the Cuttlebug types and this was as simple as typing on a keyboard. The cartridges for additional fonts get pricey, though

Reviews of Fragrance Oils from Alabaster Candle Supply

I have just picked up some scents i have never tried before.
One of ths shipment was from Alabaster Candle Supply.
The scents I bought were:
Sage and Citrus Fragrance Oil : An herbacious bouquet with floral topnotes and a sweet woody background. ( I have been on the hunt for Yankee TYPE for a while now) this is WONDERFUL out of the bottle scent.
I will make up and test this week.

Lavender Fragrance Oil : Lavender flowers enhanced by lilac, rose & jasmine with a spicy woody undertone. Still not what I am looking for- looking for a TRUE essential oil type lavender scent. This is close and may smell right when done in candles.

Sweet Cotton Fragrance Oil : Fresh Green Apple with hints of Orange & Pineapple on a Drydowns of Musk. Not sold on this- much too fruity a scent. We’ll see.

I have some Lonestar scent coming tomorrow and will check those out. Included will be another Sage and citrus.

We were at Costco today and despite my vow not to by more stamping stuff… we did. They had 4 styles of kits by Inkadoo.

The sets have idea book.. about 10 nice size stamps. a complimenting alphabet kit, black ink pad , 6 markers and idea booklet.
A great price if you ask me.

well.. I am goin to give stanping another try. I find the craft crazy expensive- I can thinkof no other craft I do that costs as much.

What Do you Do With Your Quilling Projects?

This what I have used mine for :
Quilled Snowflakes- as an add on to hostess gift at Christmas (can use as ornament) These are great as teachers gifts, too

Obvious, but scrapbooks and cards. I will often make with my daughter little gift cards to attach to a gift- animals and florals make really cute ones on card stock. I just make these very simple- one design that takes no more than an hour. People love them and can’t believe my daughter makes these
Gift tags for ANYTHING…even bottle of wine ( cluster of grapes are nice on olive card stock and some pen doodles..)

Free Scrapbooking Layouts

I was a Creative memories consultant for a while- its has been almost 5 years since I was consultant, but I do credit my introduction to them. I used to be quite snob about ONLY using their products and have since branched out. One thing they do do well is layouts. They have hundreds of FREE scrapbook layouts on their site.
