Scrapbooking: EASY-Make a Christmas Tree Using Square Punch

    tree

Free Scrapbook Idea: Easy Christmas Tree

This is a cute design for making a Christmas tree using a square punch. The design will fill an 8″ x11 scrapbook page and also makes a nice Christmas card. You can embellish or “decorate” the the tree with stickers, chalk or whatever!
I use a 1″ square punch but a little smaller or bigger is fine. Any scrapbook square punch is fine.
I used a Marvy Punch Square Extra Jumbo

To start of making your Christmas tree you will need:

10 squares punched from your choice of green card stock.
1 small square punched from your choice red cranberry card stock
2 small squares for presents from Christmas-y paper
Scrap of cards tock for the tree trunk.
Star and bow stickers or similar to decorate presents.

Starting at the top of the tree, stick down the first square in a diamond
shape. Keep layering over the top of the diamond above. The second row has
two squares, the third three and the bottom one four squares, and so on.

Finish off with tree trunk and presents.
